Out with the Old, In with the New?
Good Morning, World! Well, today marks the last day of 2005. Much has happened over the past 365 days; some good, some bad. It’s been wonderful for me to share all the good things about the blood type diet to so many people. Some saw the light and made the necessary changes. Some decided their doctors were in the know and right and kept eating their usual foods. Many of those have worsened and been hospitalized. Some just plod along. So sad. But, what can a person do? Well, you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. Sometimes he does get a little thirsty.
The Bible tells us not to hide our light (faith). We do need to show others the effects that being a Christian has on us. Sometimes that is just what someone else needs to take a look at Christianity. Well, I also think that when we have the good news of healthful eating, we have an obligation not to keep that info under wraps either, but to share what we know and the impact it has had on us. What they do with the information is up to them. They need to know they have life-changing choices available if they will try them .
Driving has been interesting this week. We are in a pattern of thawing and then freezing. That makes the roads a wee bit slick, especially at the intersections. It is currently 26 degrees and it is 10:20 am. It’s been warming up to almost 40 during the days. Today’s forecast is for it to reach 28 degrees. Yesterday, it wasn’t supposed to get above freezing, but it did. Lots of people will be out tonight celebrating the beginning of the New Year. Hopefully the roads won’t be too bad.
Health-wise I am healthier than I was a year ago, although I am still fighting that head cold and the blood pressure. I am walking more and feeling somewhat more energetic. I bought a rebounder and hope to start using that next week now that the Christmas decorations are out of the way. I’m hoping the twins will also use that. Sitting at the computer for hours on end hasn’t been healthy for either of them.
See ya next year!
