The Secretor Test
QUESTION: Since finding out if you are a secretor is so important, we blood type followers will all want to find out our secretor status. Is there any other way to find out besides the at-home test from North American Pharmacal?
ANSWER: The secretor determination is not an easy test to do, unlike the ABO test which gives a visible result that is almost immediate. The only way that one can determine secretor status is via saliva (considered the gold standard) or by using the quick and dirty way through determining one's Lewis blood group. Neither of these are common tests in the world of standard, everyday clinical medicine. So the answer to your question, unfortunately, is no.
