Okay, so I’ve been on this site for several days now and have been running scared about starting the “blog.” Enough of that nonsense! Here we are at the beginning of a new week, and I’m finding my stride with some semblance of a routine. I have found that it generally takes me two weeks to break a habit. So here I sit, typing at my computer, committing to two weeks of genuine adherence to the BTD so that I can get myself back on track.
I’ve learned enough through my own personal growth to take each day alone…”I’m okay for today”…and to use positive self-talk to get through the rough spots. Luckily for me, most of my favorite foods are on the highly beneficial list (which has been the reason for the easy “dabbling” with the diet in the past), so now the test will be to have those foods in the house, washed, cut/cooked and ready to eat.
So here it is…my commitment to me, you, cyberspace and beyond…sticking to the foods on the diet is the first step and a natural “given.” As I feel ready and comfortable, I will introduce more lifestyle changes to replace the not-so-great old ones. Adios for now…
