Hi Heidi, I read here everyday that I can. Love to hear about others" successes!
I just wanted to comment on coffee. I am an 0+ who has been a heavy coffee drinker for years, at least 25 or so. I have been able to switch to black tea for over a week now, and also watching the wheat. I am feeling quite good.
I am hoping to cut back on the black tea, or gradually go to green tea.
The symptoms that are lessening are waking up at 3am, less general fatigue, more energy.
I was having more muscle pains the first week and I attributed it to low serotonin. I read somewhere that caffeine causes one to use up their serotonin too fast. So I added some 5 htp. Seemed to do the trick.
As the weather here in CA gets warmer, I'll be drinking less tea in general. I am just happy to have avoided coffee as this was my hardest habit to break. Even exercise feels better now without it, if that makes sense.
Good luck to others in avoiding those avoids! ~~ Paula
Thank you, Paula! That's great news, and your example will inspire many to follow, I'm sure!
Best wishes, and keep us posted!! :-D
