Wow, glad you were able to catch your son!
Boys will be boys, I know....
I was wondering about the quinoa tortillas, do you make your own, or buy them pre-made? I love the ease of tortillas for lunch meat, but I've finally gone totally gluten free....hence the quinoa tortillas sound interesting....thanks Melissa!

>> I make them by hand with Brighid's recipe from recipebase http://www.dadamo.com/typebase4/recipedepictor7x.cgi?488 I usually substitute in about 1/4 cup of sweet rice flour to make them a bit more bendable, and I just smash them flat by hand (can get them pretty thin with enough quinoa or sweet rice flour to keep them from sticking), then I flatten them a little bit more with a tortilla press/cooker. They can be made pretty large, like flour tortillas, but the flavor is a bit more like corn tortilla...very tasty.

Hi Melissa:

I managed to lose weight during our seven days vacation in Florida. The thing that helped was I didn't eat out of boredom. Instead, I walked the beach!

I ate okay except for the lunch at the hotdog stand. I ordered mine without the bun. And that other lunch... well, the occasional corn taco shell never bothered me too much.

BTW, I just noticed that the signature under your photo still says "Genotype Gatherer." It sure confused me!

>>Thanks for pointing out the gatherer text...just fixed it.
