Melissa,

If you are planting corn they are usually not recommended in the book by mel for the SFG, because you would have to plant the whole box with corn to get it to pollinate properly. It might work in one of your flower beds as a pback drop for other flowers. I know it is for your husband, good luck.

Thanks, I was beginning to think it's not worth using 2 squares on the corn. You can grow a lot of other crops in two squares. Corn also requires support and raccoon protection, but I don't want to attract raccoons to the garden if I can avoid it. My husband mainly thought it would be fun for the boys to watch it grow, but he doesn't care if it produces anything. I think I'll put the corn on the hill.
