Hi Christine,<br />
Because pumpkin is beneficial for both Type Os and Type As, we eat pumpkin as a vegetable. Sometimes I just mix in ghee and cinnamon. Sometimes I use half pumpkin and half walnuts &amp; dried fruit. Pumpkin with apple and pumpkin with pineapple are both very tasty. For a Type O, who eats very little grain, pumpkin is a beneficial carbohydrate that is very filling. I usually eat it 2-3 times a week, so once a week will be a sacrifice. Parsnips and sweet potatoes will have to fill in the gap.
