Apples, plums, apricots, carrots, and oranges are the foods with the most pectin. Of those, only plums are beneficial for Type Os. Pears get completely ignored on the high-pectin lists. So it must be something else. I'd really like to know what!?!

I think that pears have beneficial effects on our intestines, the pectin,
for O's who have leaky gut or intestinal
thinning, etc. Not sure if that's right.
Don't seem as sweet as apples either.
I love them once in a while....dried
sounds delish!
