I recall that Genotype Diet book specifically states that it is more important to eat beneficial foods than to avoid the "foods to be avoided".

How many lentils were there?
I would assume the fiber in the brown rice would sweep them out of your system faster!
Mediterranean restaurants do offer better selections, & use olive oil! Not only do I have to watch for avoids, I have to avoid unknown oils with certain foods. At least here, you can eat freely(well, usually).
