I'm a little jealous of you. I'm not currently healthy enough for "just a little bit" of anything, and certainly not wheat! A trace of that stuff will make me sick for weeks! I even react topically!

Enjoy your "little bits" and your short recovery time.

I know exactly what you're talking about. Mother's day was my big "avoid" day and I ate an entire slice, albeit a small one, of carrot cake. I was in pain all day on Monday, in my gut. I can take just a little bit but an entire slice was just too much and I paid for it with weight gain and discomfort. To tell you the truth, the first bite was delicious but as I kept eating I noticed some unpleasant flavors but kept on eating anyway! Ugh. Why do we do that to ourselves?

I"m looking forward to when I am can eat avoids again. I'm super strict and already notice my gut and my "vibration" are improving.

I feel like the diet improves me emotionally and my positive emotions and expectations heal my body even more. I am very grateful for that....

Everyday my tongue becomes pinker and pinker too.... Very sweet

Thanks for posting this. For a newbie it gives hope that social setting can be dealt with in the future and that sometimes I will get a little bit in the future.

All it took for me a few weeks ago was to read the Dr's book jacket "auto-immune" issues and I nearly cried. They are not serious or chronic but mysterious enough in their onset.

Anyway - I devoured the books and honestly stopped dead at my favorite avoid - the coffee and black teas...Argh - so reading your "little bit" made me feel better.

I have only JUST begun - haven't gone cold turkey, but wheat is surprisingly easy to cut. I have been a no red meat gal for well over a decade and it will be HARD to add it.

Had little steak and salmon for dinner with sweet potatoes. Felt spritely after dinner which is unusual.

Earlier I did have a handful of Sun Chips(corn and wheat in ingredients)---immediately felt like a 10 ton bloated weight....but they were so good!!

I am a regular runner and general good health - so I feel like I don't have to completely avoid after reading your blog - - but knowing what foods make me feel unhealthy is huge.

Anyway thanks again good luck to all of us!
