I cut wheat from my diet several years before I discovered BTD. I've been buying wheat-free tamari for more than 6 years, and it's been more than 8 years since I've bought anything highly processed- when we put Hannah on the Feingold diet in 3rd grade. I may have purchased naturally brewed tamari WITH wheat in the intervening 2 years.

When I read "soy sauce" in your recipe I just assumed you meant "wheat free tamari." To me, that's what soy sauce IS!!!

I'm not really supposed to have soy at all, so I often use a homemade soy sauce substitute. For each cup of soy sauce, I substitute 1 cup water, 1 teaspoon salt, and 2 teaspoons blackstrap molasses.
