I don't eat hummus anymore (I'm Type A) but in my pre-BTD, macrobiotic-dabbling days, I discovered a recipe in a book that I just loved. Toasted slice of Ezekiel Bread, topped with collards seasoned with garlic, olive oil, and sea salt, with a "gravy" made of slightly thinned hummus. It was delish. Now you could sub another bread or omit altogether. And I now make my version of hummus with a different bean - black or great northern. My Type O HH still eats the garbanzos. But the collards are the key! :o)
