Sorry if I'm being dense here, but what do you do with canned pumpkin (other than bake with it)?

Hi Christine,
Because pumpkin is beneficial for both Type Os and Type As, we eat pumpkin as a vegetable. Sometimes I just mix in ghee and cinnamon. Sometimes I use half pumpkin and half walnuts & dried fruit. Pumpkin with apple and pumpkin with pineapple are both very tasty. For a Type O, who eats very little grain, pumpkin is a beneficial carbohydrate that is very filling. I usually eat it 2-3 times a week, so once a week will be a sacrifice. Parsnips and sweet potatoes will have to fill in the gap.
